BOZ SWOPE, a New York resident, has a career as a professional photographer that has spanned 20 years. For the past seven years, Ms. Swopes focus has been dance photography, bringing her into contact professionally with some of the worlds great talents. Most recently, she has photographed for choreographer Margo Sappington and former Bolshoi and New York City Ballet prima ballerina Valentina Kozlova coartistic directors of Ballet: The Daring Project. Ms. Swopes works have featured such notable dancers as Patrick Corbin of Paul Taylor Dance, Jodi Gates of Pennsylvania Ballet, Australian ballerina LeeAnne Chernova, and dancers from Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. Her work with all forms of dance has led to engagements with companies such as American Repertory Ballet under Artistic Director Septime Webre, The Russian Ballet Theater of Delaware under Daniel Baudendistel, Pennsylvania Ballet, Megatron, The Kirov and the Joffrey Ballet.
