Northern School of Contemporary Dance is a unique dance training institution offering a select group of students the opportunity to develop and excel as dance artists in a conservatoire environment. The majority of students at NSCD are undertaking the threeyear professional training programme, validated by the University of Kent and leading to the award of Bachelor of Performing Arts with Honours in Contemporary Dance. To provide access for less experienced students the School offers the Foundation Course in Contemporary Dance, which allows progression onto degree level professional training.
