Lasya Dance Company is based in Cupertino, CA, USA. It is a registered nonprofit organization founded by artistic director Vidhya Subramanian to promote and preserve the ancient art of Bharatanatyam. Since its inception in 1990, Lasya, meaning ‘graceful dancing’, has staged critically acclaimed productions, elaborating on traditional, spiritual, modern and collaborative themes.
